Nestor Alzate Mejia is an Assistant Professor at Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia. He obtained his degree in Systems Engineering from the same university in 2004. In 2017, he obtained an M.Sc. in Systems and Computing Engineering at the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira, Colombia. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Spain, in 2024. His research focuses on resource allocation in communication networks, with an emphasis on the design and evaluation of advanced management strategies to improve network efficiency and quality of service. His primary interests include the development of algorithmic solutions for dynamic resource optimization, performance enhancement in large-scale infrastructures, and the application of emerging computational paradigms to address complex allocation challenges.
