She is a full professor at the Faculty of Human Sciences, Foreign Languages Program at the University of Cartagena in the Colombian Caribbean. Cartagenera born in Caracas, Venezuela. He lives in Cartagena de Indias. In 2015 he obtained a Doctorate in French Literature and compared to the thesis Laureate The representation of the Caribbean in the Universal Cosmography of Francois de Bellefores (1575) with the edition and historical literary study of 7 chapters on the Caribbean Region in that French work, in the University of Rouen, France. She is a Magister in Texts and Languages of the same university and Philologist in the French area of the National University of Colombia, Bogotá. She is a researcher at the Humanities and Languages Research Group of the University of Cartagena and an associate researcher at the Center for Studies and Research Edit and Interpret-CEREdI at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Rouen, France.In recent years, he has held conferences and lectures on his research topics at such important events as the 13th Regional Artists' Salon of the Caribbean (2009), Franco-Colombian Research Meeting, Alianza Francesa, Cartagena (2010), XI International Studies Seminar Of the Caribbean (2013), 2014 International Interdisciplinary Conference- AHLIST (Association of History, Literature, Science and Technology), Annual Conference of Humanities and Languages, University of Cartagena (2015), VI Encuentro teachers of Spanish and literature: Didáctica de la Lengua And Literature, UTP (2016), International Conference of the Colombian Association of Caribbean Studies - ACOLEC (2017).She won the 2010 Significant Experience Award from the Ministry of National Education with the work "Novembrinas festivities in the Municipality of Turbo, Antioquia", from the line of research the Colombian Caribbean between history and memory with its Hermehica- Hermeneutics Research Group of History Caribbean, in the Faculty of Education of the University of San Buenaventura, Cartagena (2006-2009).He currently leads the French Literature Research Seminary at the University of Cartagena, where students hold creative writing workshops in French and formulate bilingual Spanish-French research projects on Caribbean literatures in the line of research languages, languages and interculturality
