Assistant professor at the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, where he works as a researcher at the Center for Research in Genetics and Genomics of the Universidad del Rosario (CIGGUR) and is a lecturer in Genetics and Development. He completed his PhD at the University of Otago in 2019 where his research focused on understanding the transmission and reprogramming of epigenetic information in animals. He has developed research in human genetics, bioinformatics and epigenetics. He is author of more than 15 articles published in national and international journals. Currently, his research focuses on using computational and molecular biology tools to understand and manage diseases with a genetic basis. His areas of interest include computational biology, developmental biology and epigenetics.
