Mechatronics Engineer from San Buenaventura University (2003) and homologated Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineer in Spain (2009). He has a Master in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Informatics from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (2009), a Master in Energy Technology for Sustainable Development (2012) and a Doctorate in Automation, Robotics and Industrial Informatics (2012) from the same university. He has manage, implemented and accompanied projects in Spain and Colombia such as CENIT EOLIA and MICHEGER in the area of Renewable Energies with international companies such as ACCIONA Energía, Ingeteam Service and the Valencia Port Authority. Likewise, he has carried out projects in the energy area in Colombia with companies such as Grupo de Energía de Bogotá, Corporación Ambiental Empresarial, LG Electronics and ABB. He returned to Colombia in 2012 as CEO of the spanish company INEL dedicated to renewable energies, in which he manage and implemented projects for almost three years. One of the most important projects was management for the development of the largest isolated photovoltaic solar generation system in the country, located in Alta Guajira. In 2014 the EAN University made him a member of its group of experts on the subject of energy and automation, initially as a postdoctoral professor. Currently, he is the Research and Transfer Manager at Ean University and director of the INDEVOS Research Group (Research and Development for Optimization and Sustainability).He was recognized in Colombia with the National Award for Engineering Students in 2003 by the Colombian Association of Engineering Faculties (ACOFI). Since 2016 he has received four times the position of best professor in entrepreneurship and sustainability issues from Ean University. He has 18 years of experience in his professional development (management and research) in the area of Industrial Automation and Renewable Energies, Control of Discrete Event Systems, Control of Hybrid Systems, Diagnostic Systems and Failure Recovery and Supervision Systems and Control, with participation in more than 22 publications in scientific paper and book chapters and 25 national and international conferences.In December 2021, the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce of Colombia granted him his first invention patent. The same invention is requested via PCT and as a national patent in Spain.
