I am an Associate Professor of Oral Medicine at CES University (Colombia) and visiting researcher at the University of Gothenburg (Sweden). My research is focused on the aetiology of oral lichen planus and its particular association with autoimmune thyroid disease, as well as on the role of the oral microbiome in the development of oral mucosal diseases. My private practice is limited to the diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal diseases and oral manifestations of systemic diseases.
